Williams: Seven for Luck & Other Music for Film [CD]

Simone Pedroni – Williams: Seven for Luck & Other Music for Film [CD]

Everyone knows John Williams as the creator of some of the most memorable themes in film history. This recording shines a light on his more intimate side: the concert composer who, away from the screen, lets music alone tell the story.

Alongside chamber arrangements of his film music, the program features significant works from his concert output, culminating in the first complete recording of Seven for Luck, Williams' only song cycle. With pianist Simone Pedroni, on CD from Urania Records.

Genre: Chamber Music, Classical, Film Score, Soundtrack.
