The Soft Collapse [CD]

Jaberdarwin - The Soft Collapse [CD]

Jaberdarwin is a four-way meeting of restless players: Eraldo Bernocchi (Sigillum S, Metallic Taste of Blood, Obake), Colin Edwin (longtime Porcupine Tree bassist, now in O.R.k.), Motorpsycho and Zu drummer Tomas Järmyr, and bass clarinetist Gareth Davis, whose work spans contemporary composition and noise. Their debut The Soft Collapse lets metal heft, dub and ambient space, free jazz, noise and art-rock collide rather than blend, swinging between density and silence.
