The Rest Of The Story [LP]

Big Wreck - The Rest Of The Story [LP]

The Rest Of The Story is the companion piece to Big Wreck's 2023 album Pages. Ian Thornley wrote both sets of songs in the same creative stretch and thinks of them as one continuous body of work, so this record finishes what Pages started. It runs 11 tracks and about 47 minutes, and includes the singles "Holy Roller" and "Around".

The album was cut at Noble Street Studios in Toronto. Thornley co-produced it with Nick Raskulinecz, who has worked with Foo Fighters, Deftones and Alice in Chains. Chris Holmes engineered, Eric Ratz mixed and Andy Vandette mastered. You get Big Wreck's familiar blues-heavy hard rock with progressive and psychedelic detours, built around Thornley's guitar playing and wide vocal range.

This is a single LP on black vinyl from Canadian independent label Sonic Unyon.
