The Harlem Sessions [LP]

Teddy Riley - The Harlem Sessions [LP]

Before Teddy Riley became synonymous with new jack swing, he was cutting raw, funk-driven hip hop in Harlem. The Harlem Sessions gathers those early recordings, with vocals from Al B., B. Fats and Al Jones on stripped-down tracks like 'Wong', 'Just Rap' and 'Cheating Girl', a glimpse of the producer finding his sound on his home turf.

Released on vinyl by Tuff City, with instrumental versions of all four tracks on the flip to spotlight the grooves and breaks.
