Sing the Color Blue is the sophomore album from Mike Reed's Separatist Party and the group's Thrill Jockey debut. Reed reunites with Rob Frye, Cooper Crain and Dan Quinlivan of Bitchin Bajas, alongside Marvin Tate and Ben LaMar Gay, for a set that moves between composition, reconstruction, improvisation and song form.

Built across numerous sessions, the album reshapes fragments of Tate's words and performances into layered new structures, turning years of recording, editing and re-composition into an unusually fluid ensemble record.
