Continuing M-Plant's Perpetual Masters series with the vinyl release of Robert Hood's Red Passion I. Red Passion I was originally released in 1999 on his Duet label featuring three tracks of Minimal Techno at its most hypnotic and effective, stripped back to the essentials. It layers taut rhythms, subtle modulation and deep Detroit groove. Hood's mastery lies in making tiny shifts feel monumental, creating sustained tension and movement without excess. A timeless example of minimalism achieving maximum impact, which is now remastered by Thomas P. Heckmann.
