Red Beans & Biscuits [LP]

Andre Williams - Red Beans & Biscuits [LP]

Andre Williams, the Chicago and Detroit R&B renegade behind the cult classic 'Bacon Fat', was also a restless producer, and Red Beans & Biscuits collects rare and unreleased recordings from that side of his work. Picking up where Rib Tips & Pig Snoots left off, it runs from doo-wop-flavored soul to distorted guitar rock over deep breaks and strutting keyboard funk on cuts like 'Andre's Fender Rhodes Groove'.

Released on vinyl LP by Soul-Tay-Shus, an imprint of New York's Tuff City Records.
