Rare Feeling is the sixth and most carefully crafted Twain LP. Mt. Davidson has spent much of the past decade performing in The Low Anthem and Spirit Family Reunion, but has now narrowed his focus to his solo project Twain, a project that maintains roots in indie folk and Americana while courageously exploring elements of psychedelic rock. This album was co-recorded by Adrian Olsen (Natalie Prass, Foxygen) and Scott McMicken of Dr. Dog.
