Proper [LP]

Into It. Over It. - Proper [LP]

Proper is the debut full-length from Evan Thomas Weiss, aka Into It. Over It., a cohesive start-to-finish album that showed a depth of songwriting rare at any stage of a career. It followed his 52 Weeks project, in which he wrote and recorded one song each week for a year, and his Twelve Towns 7" series with artists including Bob Nanna (Braid / Hey Mercedes), Everyone Everywhere, Empire! Empire! and Such Gold.

The album's stories stem from Weiss' own experiences, mostly in Chicago where he lived, set to a heady yet straightforward melodic sound recalling Sunny Day Real Estate, Death Cab For Cutie and The Dismemberment Plan. Pressed on Metallic Red vinyl.
