Set for release on June 27, 2025, by Decca Records in collaboration with Focus Features, this edition celebrates the enduring legacy of the film and its music. Marianelli’s composition, performed by renowned pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the English Chamber Orchestra, blends classical elegance with emotional depth. Notably, "A Postcard to Henry Purcell" draws inspiration from Purcell's incidental music for Abdelazar, also famously used by Benjamin Britten in The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra.
