The release that started it all for Eagles of Death Metal, and still one of the biggest albums of their career, featuring the singles "Miss Alissa" and "I Only Want You." The album also features guest appearances from Nick Oliveri, Alain Johannes, and more. The band's roots go back further than the album itself — Eagles of Death Metal originally surfaced in 1998 on Josh Homme's Desert Sessions Volumes 3–4, with a somewhat different sound, as Peace, Love, Death Metal shifted toward more radio-friendly vocal harmonies.

The vinyl has been out of print for over a decade, but the album has continued to stream tens of millions of times a year due to constant touring and major syncs including FIFA, video games, and more.
