Paradox of the Arrow [Colored LP]

Assumption – Paradox of the Arrow [Colored LP]

Italy's Assumption return with Paradox of the Arrow, another descent into the strange temporal architecture of death doom. Their immense low end is still the foundation, but riffs unfurl slowly and geologically before lurching into violent death metal, then collapsing into long passages of dissonant resonance and spectral ambience. Guttural vocals rise from deep in the mix, melody arrives in oblique fragments, and psychedelic details flicker at the margins.

Named after Zeno's paradox of the arrow in flight, the album's six tracks bend the sense of scale and duration. Released by 20 Buck Spin on colored vinyl LP.

Genre: Death Doom, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Psychedelic.
