Mystic Mood [LP]

Ewan Bleach - Mystic Mood [LP]

Ewan Bleach is a London clarinettist and saxophonist steeped in the hot jazz, blues and rags of the 1920s and '30s. Mystic Mood is a warm, intimate set of his own tunes in that classic style, with titles like "Rosa Lee Alley", "St. Petersburg Blues", "September Rag" and "Fleet River" — music that sounds like a smoky back room but feels fresh and personal.

Pressed on black vinyl, a UK import from Old Style Records.
