Released as a powerful summary of the band's career, the album captures the lineup's reimagined performances of classic material, including songs from the Discipline period, and documents the group's physically demanding bus-based North American tour undertaken during the COVID-19 pandemic to maintain an isolated touring bubble. CD-1 and CD-2 tracks 1-5 were recorded in Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2021, and CD-2 tracks 6-9 were recorded in Albany, New York on August 22, 2021.
