Mori Wa Ikiteiru [LP]

Mori Wa Ikiteiru - Mori Wa Ikiteiru [LP]

Mori Wa Ikiteiru is the self-titled debut from the Tokyo band, first released by P-Vine in 2013 and regarded as one of the landmark records of the city's 2010s indie boom. It followed a self-released CD-R that sold out across Japan and made them a cult favorite.

The album mixes folk, psychedelia, jazz and chamber pop with delicate Japanese-language songwriting and richly layered ensemble playing. This edition features new remixes by band leader Takuro Okada, overseen by the members, for a more spacious and detailed sound.

This limited first pressing is on black vinyl with an obi.
