Merci Mercy! [CD]

Mirjam-Luise Münzel – Merci Mercy! [CD]

Merci Mercy! opens a window on private music-making in Baroque London, pairing virtuosic sonatas by the enigmatic composer L. Mercy with imaginative arrangements of melodies from Handel's operas.

Mirjam-Luise Münzel and her collaborators bring a light, inventive touch to repertoire that was made for playing at home among friends. A single CD on Perfect Noise, and a charming detour off the well-worn Baroque path.

Genre: Chamber Music, Classical.
