Martini Shot [CD]

Danny Scott Lane - Martini Shot [CD]

Danny Scott Lane's Martini Shot is a catchy, nostalgic and slightly unhinged set that drifts between lounge, soul, indie pop and exotica, with a clear '90s thread running through it. It plays more like a mixtape than a concept album. For the first time Lane sings on most of the record, seven of its ten songs, and adds drums and percussion to his usual synths, keys, guitar and bass. David Lackner and Logan Hone play flute, with Katie Jacoby on violin.

His second release for Records We Release after House of Alice, here on CD.
