Marshall Tucker Band - Marshall Tucker Band [Expanded Blue/Orange/Yellow 140g Vinyl 3LP]
The Marshall Tucker Band's self-titled 1973 debut is the quintessential sound of Southern rock: country twang, blues muscle, jazz looseness, and road-tested jam-band confidence all locked into one easy groove. Anchored by “Can't You See” and “Take the Highway,” the album introduced the Spartanburg, South Carolina band with a warmer, more wide-open feel than a lot of hard-charging Southern rock of the era. It became a strong early statement, reaching No. 29 on the Billboard 200 and later earning RIAA Gold certification. This expanded 3LP edition features the original album, demos, and rare live performances from Way Out West: Live from San Francisco 1973 and Live in the UK 1976, with the live material pressed on vinyl for the first time.
