Marrow of the Spirit (Remix & Remaster) [2CD Hardcover Book]

Agalloch - Marrow of the Spirit (Remix & Remaster) [2CD Hardcover Book]

Agalloch's fourth album, first released in 2010, newly remixed by Markus Stock at Klangschmiede Studio E and remastered by Gus Elg. The band calls it a revelation of the original rather than a replacement. Marrow of the Spirit is a high point of atmospheric folk and black metal, from the opening "They Escaped the Weight of Darkness" to the 17-minute "Black Lake Niðstång."

This deluxe edition is a 72-page hardbound book with silver hot foil, featuring artwork, lyrics and interviews about the album, its artwork and the remix. CD1 is the new remix and remaster; CD2 is the original 2010 mix plus two bonus tracks first issued on the 2010 tour edition 7". Includes a download card.
