Basic - Basic [Vinyl]
Basic brings together guitarist Chris Forsyth, drummer Mikel Patrick Avery and bassist Douglas McCombs for seven instrumental pieces. Recorded over two days at Electrical Audio, with additional recording and mixing by Jeff Zeigler in Philadelphia, the album explores interlocking rhythms, repetition and spacious guitar-led improvisation.
