Lovelyville [LP]

Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 - Lovelyville [LP]

San Francisco's Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 were one of the great oddball bands of the American underground, and Lovelyville from 1991 is a prime example of their wonderfully unpredictable blend of noise, folk, art-rock and pure absurdity. Fifteen tracks swing from the lurching 'Four O'Clocker' and 'Nail in the Head' to a warped take on 'Green Eyed Lady' and the glorious 'Mother Uncle Delicious Tasty'.

Back on vinyl courtesy of Bulbous Monocle, pressed as a single black LP.
