Bashful Billy, the brainchild of Nicholas Edward of Darker Days and Argyle Goolsby of Blitzkid fame, returns with a newly reimagined European edition of their debut album Late for an Early Grave, set for release via Ring of Fire Records. Originally issued independently on Valentine's Day 2025 through A Corpse With No Name Music, the album now arrives in an updated format featuring exclusive content and a redesigned presentation. Drawing melodic sensibilities from The Smiths and the broader lineage of 1980s British alternative and post punk, Late From an Early Grave showcases a range of eclectic influences. This European edition introduces a black and gray monochromatic layout that emphasizes the album's moody aesthetic, with randomized color variations making each pressing visually unique. The release is further expanded with the addition of the bonus track "Shiloh Glow", recorded after the album's initial release. The track features a guest appearance by Hunter Burgan of AFI, who steps outside his traditional role as a bassist to deliver a striking saxophone performance, adding an unexpected and atmospheric layer to the recording.
