I Should Have Stayed Dead: The Death And Life of Allen Lowe [3CD]

Allen Lowe - I Should Have Stayed Dead: The Death And Life of Allen Lowe [3CD]

Saxophonist/composer Allen Lowe has had a documentary film made about his music and his battle with cancer. Continuing his prolific recording streak, Lowe put together several recording sessions featuring, at various points, Wadada Leo Smith and Matthew Shipp. A few crucial previous recordings are included here for historical context, but the vast majority of this three-CD set is new material.
