Hero of Time (Music from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) [2LP Blue Clouds & Violet Clouds Vinyl]

Slovak National Symphony Orchestra - Hero of Time (Music from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) [2LP Blue Clouds & Violet Clouds Vinyl]

Hero of Time is an hour-long orchestral arrangement of Koji Kondo's score to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, music that until now existed only as the Nintendo 64's sound chip. Arranger and composer Eric Buchholz, whose work includes The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses and the Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony, reworked the game's themes for the 64-piece Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, recorded live at Studio 1 in Bratislava and mastered for vinyl by Infrasonic.

This anniversary edition from iam8bit and Materia Collective, marking The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary, is pressed on Blue Clouds and Violet Clouds vinyl and adds a new obi strip. Ryan Brinkerhoff's artwork features a die-cut Ocarina window on the front, a gatefold with Light and Dark sides, and a gold foil-stamped Triforce on the back.
