One thing I had noticed years ago was a lack of collaboration in the hard rock and metal scene. I wanted to create an album that felt like a brotherhood. Where each feature was more than just a verse, a bridge or a chorus. A TRUE collaboration of the minds and artistry. All of the collaborations on ''Hard Reset'' came from a place of friendship, mutual respect and admiration or a combination of each. If you would have told me The Word Alive would have an album featuring Bad Omens, Loveless, Escape The Fate, Normandie and From First To Last I wouldn't have ever believed you, and that's exactly why I sought out these features. I wanted to make the impossible become possible with ''Hard Reset.'' I wanted to dream bigger than we ever have before, and to bring back the feeling of the scene that made me fall in love with it.
