Wendy & Bonnie - Genesis [LP]

San Francisco sisters Wendy and Bonnie Flower were just 15 and 18 when they made Genesis in 1969, a cult album of dreamy psych folk and sunny pop that later inspired bands like Stereolab. Their close vocal harmonies lead the way, drifting over airy arrangements touched by Brazilian rhythms and soft rock. The players include guitarist Larry Carlton, drummer Jim Keltner, bassist Randy Sterling and keyboardists Mike Melvoin and Mike Lang, with production from Gary McFarland, Gábor Szabó and Cal Tjader.

On vinyl LP from Cinedelic Records.
