Fred Pallem & Le Sacre Du Tympan - François De Roubaix, 50 Ans Après [LP]

Fred Pallem and his shape-shifting orchestra Le Sacre Du Tympan have long reworked the composers who shaped them, above all François De Roubaix. Marking fifty years since De Roubaix's death, this album turns to the orchestral side of his film music, weaving themes into hypnotic medleys for strings, brass, guitar and keys. It was taken from rehearsal tapes for the band's Paris concerts, so the live spark stays intact.

Released on black vinyl on the band's own Le Sacre Du Tympan label, for fans of Morricone, John Barry and Jean-Claude Vannier.
