Danish doom band Konvent's third album Firesky expands their blackened death/doom foundation with longer compositions, stronger dynamic shifts and a growing black-metal influence.

The five-track album balances crushing heaviness with atmospheric passages, including cleaner moments on the title track and the instrumental closing piece “Postludium.”
