Ministry's 1996 album Filth Pig marked a dark, punishing shift in the industrial metal pioneers' sound. Stripping away much of the synthesizer and sample-heavy approach of their earlier work, Al Jourgensen and company leaned into ultra-heavy guitars, massive bass and live drums, slowing the tempos into a dense, abrasive sound that frequently borders on doom metal.

The album features "Reload," "The Fall," "Brick Windows" and Ministry's twisted interpretation of Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay." Its grinding riffs, oppressive atmosphere and raw production made <i>Filth Pig</i> one of the band's most uncompromising records and a distinctive chapter in their influential catalog.

This expanded 2LP edition pairs the complete original album with rare single edits and B-sides, including "The Fall (Single Version)," "Reload (Long Edit)" and "TV III."
