Fathers, Sons and Brothers [3LP]

David Lowery - Fathers, Sons and Brothers [3LP]

Fathers, Sons and Brothers is a 28-track autobiographical solo album from David Lowery of Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. It gathers three solo albums previously released only online, In The Shadow of the Bull, Leaving Key Member Clause and Vending Machine, along with four previously unreleased songs and four newly re-recorded tracks.

The songs move roughly in order through his life: a childhood in an English seaside town ('Frozen Sea'), leaving home ('Mom, I'm Living the Life'), starting a band ('I Wrote A Song Called Take The Skinheads Bowling'), tensions in Camper Van Beethoven ('We Hate You'), Cracker's rapid success ('It Don't Last Long'), and later love, family and divorce.

This limited edition spreads the album across three LPs in a gatefold sleeve with a 12-page booklet.
