Fontaines D.C. release their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, on October 16, 2026 via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, it follows 2024's Romance, the album that took the Dublin five-piece from critical favorites to one of the biggest bands in the world — debuting at No. 2 in the UK (since certified platinum), delivering their first Billboard 200 entry, earning two GRAMMY nominations, and winning International Group of the Year at the 2025 BRIT Awards, the band's second BRIT win.

Announced with lead single "Marianne" and its Dave Meyers-directed video, Dopamine Chamber moves the band decisively away from the guitar language of their early records into something colder, stranger, and more synthetic — asking how pleasure mutates amid peril in a world tipping toward collapse.

The album takes its title from the idea of a record as a room the listener steps into. "The album itself is a dopamine chamber," says vocalist Grian Chatten. "You step inside and we test these different mind- or mood-altering pieces of music on you."
