Gianfranco Menzella - Dedicated to Bob Berg [CD]

Dedicated to Bob Berg is the fifth album as leader by Italian tenor saxophonist Gianfranco Menzella, who has worked with Steve Grossman, Danilo Rea and Kenny Werner. His quartet features Eugenio Macchia (piano), Carlo Bavetta (bass) and Pasquale Fiore (drums).

The album pays tribute to the American saxophonist Bob Berg (1951-2002), mostly through pieces associated with him, played in a hard bop style with blues and ballad numbers.
