Dexter Gordon - Daddy Plays The Horn [180g LP + OBI]

Dexter Gordon's powerful blowing and generous sense of melody shine throughout this 1955 masterpiece recorded for Bethlehem. His deep, rich tenor sound on the ballad "Autumn in New York" is simply indescribable. A superb showcase of the unique character of Dex, combining both strength and sensitivity in a way only he could achieve.
