Madonna returns to the dance floor with Confessions II, the long-awaited sequel to her landmark 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor. Reuniting with producer Stuart Price, Madonna builds the album as a continuous, club-ready journey through house, electronic pop, acid house, French touch and other strains of dance music, while reconnecting with the seamless DJ-mix concept that made the original Confessions so distinctive.
Critics have hailed the album as a major return to form, with Pitchfork calling it a vital addition to her catalog and highlighting the record's connections to both her club roots and the experimental side of her late-'90s and early-2000s work. The expanded 16-track Deluxe Edition opens with "I Feel So Free," produced by Madonna and Price with additional production by Arca and elements of Lil' Louis' house classic "French Kiss." Other highlights include "Danceteria," "Read My Lips," "Love Sensation," "Fragile," "The Test," "L.E.S. Girl" and the Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter collaboration "Bring Your Love." That single, produced by Madonna and Price with additional production from PARISI, incorporates Inner City's Detroit house classic "Good Life." The wider album also brings in collaborators including Arca, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, Tainy, Martin Garrix and Mirwais.
This deluxe 2LP edition presents all 16 songs as a continuous mix on translucent pink vinyl and gives the physical release full VIP "Club Confessions" treatment. The records are housed in a gatefold jacket with mirrored inner sleeves and a printed clear outer sleeve, accompanied by a double-sided poster, exclusive numbered coat check and track-list prayer card. The vinyl was mastered by Ruairi O'Flaherty at Sterling Sound Los Angeles and cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road London.

I love this album. I mostly love how it's packaged. The extra mylar security tape looked like I could carefully remove it without damaging the cover. I was incorrect. It sounds great though.
