Jay-Z and Linkin Park collide on Collision Course, the groundbreaking six-track project that fuses some of the biggest songs from both artists into newly recorded mash-ups. Created for MTV’s Ultimate Mash-Ups, the collaboration pairs Jay-Z’s hip-hop classics with Linkin Park’s explosive rock sound, with Mike Shinoda and Jay-Z shaping the recordings together. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Highlights include “Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You,” “Big Pimpin’/Papercut,” “Izzo/In the End” and “Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer.” Its centerpiece, “Numb/Encore,” won the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, cementing Collision Course as one of the defining rock-meets-hip-hop collaborations of the 2000s.
