Jozef Van Wissem and Jim Jarmusch's Bocca di Lupo and Mouth of the Wolf were recorded in July 2025 in Bologna at Fonoprint Studios, located on Via Bocca di Lupo, hence the titles of these two records. Bocca di Lupo starts with a new version of their own "Only Lovers Left Alive," with all other tracks new originals, including a guest duet vocal from Courtney Barnett on "Never Like You Said."

Mouth of the Wolf, the second LP, consists of two longer, darkly ecstatic instrumental studio tracks, "In A" and "Massa Damnata," both created with two electric guitars and derived from their live performances. The duo cite inspirations ranging from Sunn O))) and Swans to Terry Riley and Morton Feldman, from Hildegard Von Bingen to Psychic Ills and Spacemen 3.
