Big Sun [LP]

Chassol – Big Sun [LP]

Big Sun crowns Christophe Chassol's trilogy of "ultrascores" — his method of harmonizing real-life recordings — which began in New Orleans and passed through India. In 2014 he travelled to Martinique, his family's birthplace, filming and recording carnival scenes, birdsong, whistling, poetry, rap, flute, conch shells, the ocean and the clatter of a dominos game, then set it all to music back in France.

This French import LP from Tricatel presents Big Sun across two sides, from "The Big Sun (Introïde)" to "Générique Big Sun."
