Jun Iida - Bellflower [CD]

Bellflower brings Jun Iida's experiences and musical communities into a set of contemporary jazz compositions. References to Pittsburgh, Japan and fellow musicians inform the material, while the trumpeter's ensemble develops each piece through melodic playing and responsive interaction. The album connects travel and personal memory to Iida's compositional voice.

Edition: CD.
