Arati [LP]

Paul Pèrrim - Arati [LP]

Anthropologist-musician Paul Pèrrim follows his 2025 debut Itara with its palindromic companion Arati, a rougher, more rugged trip into the wilderness. Mutant maqams, Africanist sound collage, acid Eastern free-folk, droning guitar and cosmic ambient blur together, nodding to classic field recordings in the Deben Bhattacharya tradition while sounding entirely its own.

On vinyl LP from Keroxen, with drawings by Pèrrim and mastering by Daniel García at La Platanera Studio.
