Alive in the Catacombs [One-Sided LP]

Queens of the Stone Age - Alive in the Catacombs [One-Sided LP]

Alive in the Catacombs is Queens of the Stone Age stripped down to their most elemental form. Filmed and recorded by La Blogothèque in July 2024 in the catacombs beneath Paris, it finds Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore joined by a three-piece string section, with chains and chopsticks pressed into service as percussion. Every song was cut live in a single complete take, with no overdubs or edits. Mark Rankin produced the recording and mixed it with Homme and Shuman.

After the deluxe edition sold out in under a day, this standard edition is a one-sided LP in a single-pocket jacket, with a printed inner sleeve of behind-the-scenes photos by longtime collaborator Andreas Neumann.
