The Waterboys - A Rock In The Weary Land (Expanded Edition) [Blue 2LP]
A Rock In The Weary Land is The Waterboys' seventh studio album, originally released in 2000. It revived the band name after two Mike Scott solo records and featured original members Kevin Wilkinson and Anthony Thistlethwaite alongside keyboard players Thighpaulsandra and Richard Naiff.
This expanded edition, curated by Scott, is the album's first reissue and first vinyl release. The sequence follows the 14-song 2001 US edition, adding 'Lucky Day / Bad Advice' and 'My Lord, What A Morning', and side four holds a 16-minute live version of 'Savage Earth Heart'.
The reworked artwork uses a different Steve Gullick photo from the original sessions plus previously unseen shots. Pressed on limited 180g sky blue double vinyl.
Format: 2x12" Vinyl, Slip Sleeve, Jacket
Release Date: September 25, 2000
