A Love Supreme [Cobalt Blue Vinyl]

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme [Cobalt Blue Vinyl]

Recorded in a single December 1964 session with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones, A Love Supreme is John Coltrane's four-part spiritual suite and one of the defining albums in jazz. It pulls together everything his classic quartet had built, from modal explorations to the searching intensity of his later work, into one devotional statement that still sounds urgent today. This Impulse! reissue is pressed on cobalt blue vinyl.
