Jeff Cannata (often recognized by his recording moniker Arc Angel) is a Connecticut-based multi-instrumentalist, singer and record producer. Best known for the critically acclaimed 1983 self-titled album Arc Angel, he blends progressive rock, art rock, and melodic AOR. He is also a founding member of the 1970s prog-rock group Jasper Wrath. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Cannata's career began as a drummer, eventually evolving into a multiinstrumentalist who sings and plays drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, and woodwinds. He partnered with former bandmate Michael Soldan and caught the attention of Portrait/CBS Records, releasing the bombastic Arc Angel debut in 1983. The record featured the popular tracks "Stars" and "Tragedy," and included contributions from musicians like Jeff Bova and future Bon Jovi bassist Hugh McDonald. Transitioning strictly to the name Cannata, a few years later during 1988, Jeff returned with the ‘Images Of Forever’ album and continued release albums under that moniker. Now he returns with A Kaleidoscope of Madness!
