1966 [Translucent Tan Vinyl]

The Doors - 1966 [Translucent Tan Vinyl]

A rare look inside a Doors session at Sunset Sound on August 29, 1966, during the recording of their debut album. The band worked on "Moonlight Drive" and "Indian Summer," neither of which made the record, and this LP collects the takes complete with studio chatter and false starts. Pressed on translucent tan vinyl in a single-pocket jacket with an insert.

Side A
Moonlight Drive (Takes 1-16, 18 & 19)

Side B
Indian Summer (Takes 1-7, 8A, 8B & 12)
