British Indie trailblazers The Kooks return with their 6th album 10 Tracks to Echo In The Dark. A fresh sounding, electronic-tinged evolution from a band who have shaped the sound of British guitar-led pop music across the last 15 years. Epic and instant pop songs sit alongside reflective, hopeful lyrics and a musical refinement which mark a new chapter in the band's musical evolution. Working with a range of new innovative creative collaborators, the band have created a cohesive narrative for the project, channelling a visual aesthetic linking ideas of Retro- Futurism and imagery of 80s West Berlin alongside a fresh and evocative approach to production masterminded whilst working in Berlin with producer Tobias Kuhn. In line with the fresh approach to the creation of the album, the record will be released in 3 parts, the first 2 parts consisting of 3-track EP releases and the final part adding a further 4 tracks to the project as a culmination of a 10 track album. With an ever-growing young, digital native fanbase and playing to the biggest crowds of their career, The Kooks are poised to show vital and relevant a band they are now to a wide ranging audience.
