A first-ever collaboration between singer-songwriter Leola, who has released numerous works themed around "Ocean" and is regarded as a bridge between the Japanese surf music scene and J-POP, and GIRA MUNDO, who, while rooted in Brazilian music, has worked on projects for J-POP artists such as Kimaguren, Aimyon, and Ketsumeishi.
The lyrics, written by Leola, paint a love song set on a sunset beach, expressing feelings for a lover. Her vocals, carrying both wistfulness and purity, convey a warmth reminiscent of the evening sun reflecting on the water’s surface. GIRA MUNDO’s sound production delivers an outstanding arrangement, blending city pop-inspired beats with 90s-style rhythms, enriched by the natural resoce of beautiful piano and acoustic guitar. The result is a soundtrack perfectly suited for sunsets at the end of summer.
The track is a single cut from the surf music compilation "SALT... meets ISLAND CAFE -Sea of Love 3-," supervised by the magazine "SALT...," which proposes new values in beach lifestyle and surf culture.
