High-spirited high jinks on Christmas Eve put Frank Cross (Bill Murray) in a ghostly time warp in this hilarious take on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Cross, who rose from the mailroom to TV network president, is mean, uncaring, and sadistic — perfect qualities for a modern-day Scrooge. Before the night is over, he's visited by a maniacal cab driver from the past, a pratfall-prone fairy from the present, and a ghoulish, seven-foot headless messenger from the future.

Directed by Richard Donner and packed with Hollywood veterans including Bobcat Goldthwait, David Johansen, and Carol Kane, Scrooged is a beloved '80s holiday dramedy. Elfman's score is a treat to revisit, with early hints of the sound he'd go on to develop for Batman, Batman Returns, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, and Tales From The Crypt — swinging from cheery holiday tunes to dark, sinister cues that mirror the film's story.

This limited edition pressing is on Mistletoe Blend colored vinyl, with bonus tracks and source cues, alternate poster art, a poly-lined sleeve, and a full-color insert with credits and production shots.
