Recording in a limited space saw Zack trying a lot of new things to achieve his sound. The album draws heavily from Degler's life experiences, particularly his journey through addiction and recovery. The inspiration for the album also stems from Degler's love of nature and exploration, often finding solace and creativity during his solo motorcycle rides through diverse landscapes.
