Hikari Ichihara, a shining star at the forefront of Japanese jazz, celebrates her 20th anniversary this year and will release her 11th full-length album, "Brain Candy," on October 22, 2025. Having made her full-fledged vocal debut with her 2019 album "Sings & Plays," Hikari Ichihara has created a new album packed with her own euphoric original songs. The album features regular members Jun Miyagawa, Akiyoshi Shimizu, and Kazuaki Yokoyama, plus two guitarists, Takuma Asada and Ryo Ogiwara, bringing out the best in Hikari Ichihara, creating a studio recording that feels just like a live performance.
