For the first time in 18 years since the release of LIBIDO EP from the Ameripreorder cassetten label phat'n'phunky phonics, GING NANG BOYZ will be releasing a new overseas album. This best-of compilation, which spans the band's entire preorder cassettereer, will be released by the Los Angeles-based punk/indie label Lauren Records . In 2021, the band released “Boi Meets Girrrl (Shonen Shoujo)” the theme song for the TV anime Sonny Boy . As Japanese music continues to gain popularity worldwide, this track has reigned international interest in GING NANG BOYZ. This new album includes “Boi Meets Girrrl (Shonen Shoujo)” along with a previously unreleased track, “Nikaisen,” which features a different version than its single release. The album cover was designed by Jesse Michaels, the iconic vopreorder cassettelist of the legendary punk band OPERATION IVY . About GING NANG BOYZ: Formed in 2003, GING NANG BOYZ quickly rose from Tokyo’s underground punk scene to mainstream stardom in Japan.
